Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

1. Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the website globeclaim.io and all associated pages, operated by Alexander Sadomsky (sole proprietor), Hamburg, Germany.

2. Accessibility Status

GlobeClaim is under active development. We strive to meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA to ensure an accessible experience for all users.

Measures currently implemented:

  • Semantic HTML with correct landmark roles
  • Sufficient color contrast for primary text elements
  • Keyboard navigation for interactive elements
  • ARIA attributes for interactive components
  • Alt text for meaningful images
  • Responsive design for mobile devices
  • Language attribute (lang) set on the HTML element

Known limitations:

  • The interactive 3D globe (WebGL) has limited usability without assistive technologies
  • Some animated elements may be challenging for users sensitive to motion
  • Globe navigation requires mouse or touch interaction

3. Alternative Access

All core functions of GlobeClaim — account creation, tile management, project information, and legal pages — are accessible without the 3D globe through the text interface and navigation.
